I had to have 2 other mouth surgeries since I logged in last.  Both went okay so far but hope I don't have to have another.  My Granddaughter graduated from high school Saturday.  I am so proud of her.  I also have 1 son and 2 grandsons I am very proud of as well.  Again I am asking for anyone who can help to send money to the address I listed.  I desperately need top teeth as I am so embaressed to even talk to people and have problems trying to eat anyway, and need to pay for my Doctor's care and I have many Doctors to pay.  I hope they won't stop seeing me as I am unable to make my co-pays to hospitals and Doctors.  Being on disability doesn't give enough money to last the month through.  When I will be able to draw my retirement from the gov. where I worked for 13 years will help out some but my need is great at this time.  I am just another face of a cancer victim, with the hopes of a full recovery.  Time will tell.  I have so many Doctor visits it is unreal.    Thanks for any help, and one day I will repass the help to someone else.  Sylvia

March, )7, 2009 As being a cancer patient I have faced tremendous chalenges from radiation, chemo, pulling of part of my teeth, to my immune system breaking down and low white blood cell count and now I am having to go to the hyperbaric oxygen chamber for a month.  It is hard to ask for donations but it is necessary for me to ask.  I have not had anyone to contact me with any help yet but any donation of $5 or $10.00 would greatly help me with the cost of gas, medicine or payments to my Doctors. Most retirement plans will let you get a loan against a person's 401, check with your plan to see if you can get one.

Also, if a person is disabled, there may be loop holes in the regulations that one can draw their retirement out.  Check with an attorney, most give a free initial visit or phone consult.

The past few weeks has been very hard.  I am scheduled to go to 6 weeks of hyperbaric treatments, Monday thru Friday and I had to tell them I just don't even have the gas money to get there.  We really do need some changes to our health care system to help those of us who are in need.  I worked for our Govt. for 13 years and they won't even let me draw my retirement until I reach 62 years of age.  Heck, I won't live that long.  So again I am asking if anyone can send any amount of a donation please do as I really do need it.  I am still getting those loan (spam offers) from some people from another country so those of you who are reading this I am sure you know what I mean.  As a courtesy I am asking not to send me loan offers or any other scams.  If you only knew how that hurts those of us who are really in need.  Sincerely,  Sylvia

I was amazed that I have been receiving emails from people from who knows where with offers of loans and wanting me to send all kinds of information.  How anyone could try and take advantage of those of us who are so in need just breaks my heart.  Sylvia

Rosie327,  Thank you for the info, but right now I can't even afford to purchase anything.  That is why I am asking people for money so I can get the medical care and to be able to live until things can improve for me.   I had so many expenses while my husband was sick as he was ill for a long time.  Every credit card I had was maxed out.  But I was lucky to have been able to be there for him.  Thank you for your thoughtfullness.  Sylvia
